Mitchell Terrel

Mitchell Terrel

Owner/Broker

Mitchell Terrel is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Business. He is also a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy and responsible for Hunting Country’s Midwest Operations in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Mr. Terrel has been self-employed since the age of fifteen, when he purchased his first tractor & baler to start a custom baling business. At the age of seventeen he purchased a subscription-based legal publication company known as “the public record bulletin” providing reports (to attorneys, lenders and investors) on oil & gas production, drilling permits, leases, deeds, mortgages and other legal filings.

Mitchell brings value to the Hunting Country team on many levels. He is an avid outdoorsman active in hunting, fishing, golfing and training birddogs. He is also active in building and design; completing multiple construction projects from barns to new homes.  He has one of the most impressive “transaction history” and “clients & references” portfolio of any land professional in the Midwest.

Mitchell is a 5th generation farmer passionate about his rural culture; a good steward to the land & wildlife.  He appreciates the value in a hard-day’s-work, as much as he does a well-trained birddog.

Mitch, along with his wife Rylee and their 4 children Falyn, Laney, Morgan & Max reside in Alva Oklahoma.
